In my sixties, I am getting more and more fascinated with coding and programming, staying always passionate about new development challenges!
However, at the end of the day, I don’t care so much, if I will be paid enough to add to my pension.
(Of course, It will be fine, to be able to replace my Late-2013-MacBook with that new one with the Mx Max. But this is not the top priority, …well, not right now...? )
Development is my passion. My daily routine is challenging, problem-solving, digging deeply, or learning new frameworks and tools.
As much as I can, I will keep coding. That’s my way of living…

Mr. Panos Zafiropoulos is an MSc Computer and Informatics engineer with robust and extensive experience since 1987, in the area of IT and Project Management.
Even from the very early beginning of his career, he has been deeply involved in computer programming and application development, following constantly the changes in the evolution of IT technologies.
His experience is obtained by working in both the private and public sectors covering various job positions and business roles.
For the last decade, he has been involved in large scale projects and he has also been appointed as Advisor at SGs’ & Minister’s Offices (Greek Ministry for Development, Greek Ministry of Finance, Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, etc.), where he has widened his experience and skills, working with many public and private stakeholders in improving the legal and regulatory framework, in fields such as business development, trade facilitation, retail transactions, customs, and e-commerce, e-invoicing, taxation, etc. Besides, he has also worked on projects with multinational teams in Greece and abroad, collaborating effectively with various groups of people having different cultures, where he demonstrated his ability to integrate smoothly in an international environment.
Last years, he has turned back to his passion: development ! He is working intensively implementing agile practices, and using most of the recent trends and technologies, as well as the best practices on software engineering on backend and frontend application development. At the same time, he deals with a number of various systems, databases, languages, frameworks, and tools.
His broad experience in management, and the ability to understand timely and deeply the technological aspects of a project, as well as his passion for cutting-edge technologies in applications development, makes him a truly good team player, being able to adapt quickly and smoothly in any team of skillful people.
His current position is at Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) of Greece.
